1. Purpose of the App

ElevatorFix provides technical reference information, community discussion, support tickets, reporting tools and troubleshooting resources for elevator technicians, engineers and service professionals.

2. Technical Information Disclaimer

Information in ElevatorFix is provided for educational and reference purposes only. Elevator work can be dangerous and must be performed only by trained, qualified and authorized professionals. Always follow manufacturer manuals, safety standards, local regulations and company procedures.

3. User Responsibilities

Users agree not to:

• Post false, unsafe, abusive, illegal or misleading content.
• Share copyrighted manuals, confidential documents or restricted materials without permission.
• Misuse community, chat, support or report features.
• Attempt unauthorized access to app systems, admin tools or user data.
• Use the app to encourage unsafe elevator practices.

4. Accounts

Users are responsible for maintaining access to their account and for activity under their account. ElevatorFix may restrict or remove accounts that misuse the platform or violate these terms.

5. Community and Reports

ElevatorFix may review reports, remove content, restrict accounts, add internal notes or take other action to maintain safety and quality within the app. Reports are reviewed for safety, abuse prevention and platform integrity.

6. Support Tickets

Users may submit support tickets for app bugs, data corrections, account issues, content requests, business enquiries or other feedback. ElevatorFix will attempt to review and respond, but response time is not guaranteed during beta.

7. Beta Status

ElevatorFix may be provided as a beta product. During beta, features may change, data may be updated, bugs may occur and some services may be incomplete or experimental.

8. Intellectual Property

ElevatorFix branding, app design, software and original content are owned by ElevatorFix or its owners. Users must not copy, redistribute or misuse the app or its content without permission.

9. Third-Party Services

ElevatorFix may use third-party services such as Supabase, Google authentication, hosting providers and other infrastructure providers to operate the app and website.

10. Limitation of Liability

ElevatorFix is not responsible for injuries, damages, losses, service issues or technical failures caused by misuse of information, unauthorized elevator work, incorrect field actions or failure to follow official manuals, local regulations and safety procedures.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the app or website means acceptance of the updated Terms.
